STUDY TRIP TO THE EUROPEAN INSTITUTIONS 2023
This report encapsulates the enriching encounters and profound learnings from the study visit to the European institutions, during the week-long trip from December 10th to 16th, 2023, organized by the Master of European Integration, with immense support from the German Foundation for International Judicial Cooperation (IRZ) which was made possible by a project funding of the German Foreign Office. Spanning four cities across four different countries, our study trip comprehensively covered the most significant European institutions, including those with exclusive EU competences.
Online visiting lecture Prof. Dr. Julia Kapelanska Pregowska: Contextualizing Migration and Refugee Policies in Poland and Europe
In the Conference Hall of the Faculty of Law, on October 25, 2023, a traditional introductory lecture was held for students of the new generation of the Master in European Integration program. In this school year, the European Lecture was held by Julia Kapelańska-Pręgowska from Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun, Poland, on the topic “Contextualizing Migration and Refugee Policies in Poland and Europe”. In the first part of the lecture, the importance of migration in the European Union was particularly emphasized, but also why it is important to study this topic. Chaplain Pregovska then gave an overview of the relevant regulations concerning European migration law and introduced the students to EU migration policies. (more…)
